Top Workplaces 2023RVNAhealth is an eleven-time winner of the Hearst Top Workplaces award, achieving this recognition in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.  

The award is given to local companies that lead the way in workplace culture based on employee surveys, which measure such attributes as leadership, compensation and training, workplace flexibility, and diversity.  

In 2021  RVNAhealth was awarded the Excellence in Emergency Management Response Award by the Connecticut Association of Healthcare at Home (CAHCH).  The award recognizes an individual, team, or agency that has demonstrated great emergency preparedness and management response skills through an emergency.  RVNAhealth received this award for extraordinary efforts and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Learn more about the award here

September 2021, RVNAhealth received Re-Accreditation from CHAP – the Community Health Accreditation Partner for our Hospice Program.  

RVNAhealth is extremely proud of all our team members — both clinical and administrative — who worked together not only to achieve this outstanding CHAP review, but who work together every day of the year to provide the highest level of patient and family care. r

In 2020, members of RVNAhealth StayingWELL Services were honored to receive the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut’s Excellence in Caregiving award. The award recognizes their work with clients affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. You can read more about the award here.

In 2022 Keri Linardi, RN, BSN, PHN, CHPCA, Chief Clinical Officer of RVNAhealth was awarded the annual CAHCH Judith Hriceniak Award for Nursing Leadership award. Theresa Santoro, MSN, RN, CHCA, RVNAhealth President & CEO, won the award in 2020.  The award’s namesake, Dr. Judith Hriceniak (1938-2000), was widely recognized for her achievements as an administrator and nursing educator. Home Care Pulse 2024 Leader Awards for RVNAhealthIn 2024, RVNAhealth StayingWELL non-medical home care services received the Best of Home Care® — Leader in Excellence Award, along with Provider and Employer of Choice Awards from Home Care Pulse. The Leader in Excellence category recognizes the top 15% of participating non-medical home care agencies in the nation, based upon unfiltered client and caregiver satisfaction feedback.

In 2019, RVNAhealth Director of Rehabilitation Services Gigi Weiss, MSPT, CDP, CKTP, was the recipient of  the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home’s Innovation Award. You can read more about the prestigious award here.

In 2018, RVNAhealth President & CEO Theresa Santoro was named to the Ridgefield 25— a group of leaders, doers, creators, and community stalwarts who help make the Ridgefield a dynamic place to live and work. You can read more about the award here.

In 2018, RVNAhealth was awarded a Readers Choice Award for “Best In-Home Care” by TownVibe/Ridgefield Magazine. The Readers Choice Awards, introduced in 2018, reflect the votes of over 800 TownVibe/Ridgefield Magazine readers, who weighed in on categories ranging from food and drink to beauty, shopping, and health.

In 2006, 2007, 2012,  and 2013, RVNAhealth was named to the HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the most successful home care providers in the country. This ground-breaking review names the Medicare-certified agencies whose performance measures in quality, improvement and financial performance are among the top 25% of providers nationwide.

RVNAhealth  has received Accreditation from CHAP – the Community Health Accreditation Program for standard home health care services.  The agency is a certified Medicare provider and is licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services.

Nightingale Award

The Nightingale Award is given annually in recognition of excellence in nursing. It is Connecticut’s largest state-wide nursing recognition program.

Nightingale awardees make a significant impact on patient care, go “beyond the call,” demonstrate excellence, show commitment to their community, and achieve life-long professionalism.
