Meet one-on-one for comprehensive nutrition and wellness sessions tailored to your medical history, specific nutrient needs, and overall goals. Our dietitian uses a holistic approach to promote healing and wellness while considering your time, lifestyle, and budget. Areas of expertise include: hypertension, prediabetes/diabetes, high cholesterol, irritable bowel syndrome [low FODMAPS], digestive disorders, intuitive eating, weight loss or weight gain.

  • 15-minute Phone Consultation prior to Initial Visit – Free
  • 1-hour Initial Visit – $125
  • 45-minute Follow-up Visits – $75

Nutrition Counseling and Exercise Prescription Program

Nutrition Counseling and Exercise Prescription Program

Using the American College of Sports Medicine [ACSM] Certified Exercise is Medicine® program, RVNAhealth’s Registered Dietitian will work with you to determine a diet and exercise plan that will aid in long-term prevention of chronic illness, optimize your overall health and improve your clinical condition while limiting the use of medication.

Program Fee – $350. The Program Includes:

  • 90-minute Initial Visit
  • 45-minute Nutrition Follow-up
  • 45-minute Exercise Plan Follow-up

Tips and Tricks in the RVNAhealth Teaching Kitchen

A fun, interactive way to experience healthy food choices, preparation strategies, and nutrition tricks of the trade all while considering your individual nutritional needs and goals! Program includes devoted dietitian time, food*, recipe cards, and educational handouts.

  • 60-minute Session – $175 for 1-2 people
  • 90-minute Session – $225 for 1-2 people
  • $25 per additional person depending on cost of food

Sports Nutrition Counseling

Optimize training, improve performance, and enhance recovery at all stages of training. Specialties include endurance sports; acro-athletics; and NCAA sports: basketball, baseball, football, softball, tennis, and golf; strength training/weightlifting.

  • 15-minute Phone Consultation prior to Initial Visit – Free

Taking care of others is not an easy task, especially when their medical needs are complex. RVNAhealth’s Registered Dietitian
will work with caregivers and family members to promote quality of life through nutrition following an illness, or significant health event.

Monica Marcello, MS, RD, applies her diverse nutrition background to best serve the individual needs of those in the RVNAhealth community of care. Her expertise includes wellness restoration following injury or surgery, community and individual education and program creation, strategies for athletic performance optimization, and interactive healthy cooking classes for all ages in the RVNAhealth teaching kitchen.
