Well-Child Clinics
Every year, RVNAhealth offers physicals and immunization-only visits for young people from birth to age 18. Well-Child Clinics are intended for families who do not have health insurance, or whose insurance does not cover annual physicals and immunizations.
RVNAhealth Well-Child physicals are performed by local pediatricians, PAs (physician’s assistants) or APRNs (advanced practice registered nurses) accompanied by members of our staff.

Well-Child Physicals at RVNAhealth – What’s Included
Each physical includes:
- vision and hearing tests
- height and weight measurements
- anemia screening
- urinalysis
- blood pressure
- doctor examination
- any vaccines or immunizations that are required (Covid 19 Vaccine – Age 12+)
RVNAhealth has a Therapy Dog! Her name is Sophia, and she is available upon request to help calm any anxious children. Click here to learn more about Sophia!
Well Child Clinic Fees
Physicals and immunizations are provided free of charge. No insurance or payment needed. The clinic is funded by:
- The Barker Welfare Foundation
- Ridgefield Fresh Air Association
- Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation
- Gary & Susie Singer
Other RVNAhealth Pediatric Services Include
- Dietitian consultations and nutrition education
- Flu vaccines for ages 6 months and up
- Childhood immunizations and vaccines
- Home nursing services for children who are ill and require medical care at home
- Speech, occupational and physical therapy
