Why did you become a caregiver? I’m a caregiver simply because I was chosen. Many people can give care, but it takes a special person to actually be a caregiver. Being a caregiver is forgetting yourself and putting someone else first; it’s having patience, it’s having empathy and sympathy for someone who’s not related to you as well as your family. I am a caregiver because I enjoy giving care and love to seniors and people who are sick.

Why did you become a caregiver? For me it all started when it suddenly became my responsibility to care for a member of my family. It also gives me a purpose by providing a way to help others, and it is rewarding.

Why did you become a caregiver? Being a caregiver is rewarding because you can see how the care and joy you bring to people changes their moods, especially when they are sick. A little bit of kindness can change someone’s entire day and it is great know you are a part of the reason.

Adriana is known for her hearty laugh, huge heart and can-do spirit. She’s a nurse who once helped carry a recliner down a flight of stairs so her patient could once again sit in his beloved chair.
