The Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association (PBA) kicked off National Nurses Week on May 6 with a special lunch delivery to the RVNAhealth team. The full menu included scrumptious sandwiches from Tony’s Corner Deli, amazing cookies baked fresh by members of the Ridgefield Chapter of the National Charity League; cupcakes from our own Grace Smart and Forever Sweet; and another fabulous batch from The Cake Box.
A highlight of the day was the unveiling of a sign at the RVNAhealth entrance proclaiming, “Heroes Work Here.” A fact we already know. The day was also made special by the company of some longtime friends of our agency, including board member and retired lifelong nurse Susan Law who was on hand to help distribute special nurses recognition gifts.
