Dementia Support Group (Ridgefield)

Objective: Build a support system with people who understand. Alzheimer’s Association® support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for people living with dementia and their care partners to:
- Develop a support system.
- Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions.
- Talk through issues and ways of coping.
- Share feelings, needs and concerns.
- Learn about community resources.

About RVNAhealth’s Melissa Wutke
Melissa is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and currently works at RVNAhealth as a Home Health Aide Supervisor. Before joining RVNAhealth, she acquired extensive experience working with persons affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias in private home, assisted living, and memory care facilities. Melissa previously ran the Newtown Alzheimer’s Support Group through the Alzheimer’s Association (AA) and has received numerous certifications through AA.
