Thank you to all who contributed to RVNAhealth last week on Fairfield County’s Giving Day.  Powered by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, this remarkable 24-hour fundraising event has, for the past eight years, brought people and communities together to support local nonprofits that deliver vital services to our neighborhoods.  

Fairfield County’s Giving Day 2021 was a tremendous success, with $2,250,154 raised from 14,828 individuals, benefitting 394 nonprofits in our region.  As a participating nonprofit, RVNAhealth received just more than $10,000 in contributions from generous donors wanting to assist in our pandemic response.  This outpouring of generosity will directly offset the significant costs associated with our COVID-19 vaccination clinics, which are vaccinating hundreds of people each day and protecting our communities. 

Public health will always be a critical component of our more than a century old, nonprofit mission.  From all of us at RVNAhealth, a heartfelt thank you for making a big difference in your community with your support of our pandemic response.
