When and how did you decide to become an OT, or were you born knowing?
I was looking for a new career – I had been a computer programmer and didn’t want to continue. My requirements were: in medical field, could work anywhere in the country and wasn’t nursing. I liked OT because it is holistic and has many options of work locations.

If you could offer one tip to people, based on your experiences as an OT, what would it be?
Make your home accessible.  You never know when you will need to use the features!
