RVNAhealth is proud to have a team of compassionate, caring and highly capable employees. Some of those employees came to us courtesy of the Danbury office of Robert Half International. This month, we took time to chat with Jaclyn Lewandowski, Branch Manager at the Danbury office, about their business and partnership with our agency.

Q: How big is your team?
A: We are part of a large regional team and consist of 30 people.

A: Greater Fairfield County in CT, as well as Dutchess, Putnam, and Orange Counties in New York.

About the Staffing Industry
Q: How has COVID-19 impacted your business?
A: It has been a challenging time for all businesses and ours is no different. We are doing everything we can to support both clients and candidates however we can at this time. Although we’ve seen more caution from clients, many organizations have moved to remote work setups and we’ve helped them along that journey.
Q: Any trends or insights employers should be aware of?
A: Right now, the pandemic has brought on many changes to the way employers and job seekers approach their day-to-day. For employers, we are seeing a lot of trends, such as:
- Consultants being critical in keeping many businesses afloat
- Workers feeling more burnt out – they need breaks during a time of uncertainty
- Digital-first companies have fared the best
- Employers are supporting and embracing the “anywhere workforce”
- Savvy employers recognize that now is a good time to hire from a rich talent pool
Q: Can you offer any words of wisdom for someone currently seeking employment?
A: Right now, it is a very important time to make sure your resume is best representing you. There are a lot of online resources and free classes that everyone has access to that can really sharpen your skillset and help you learn something new. We have an online skill improving platform that has been helping people with Excel and other programs.
About the Robert Half/RVNAhealth Relationship
Q: How did you first meet RVNAhealth?
A: We first met RVNAhealth at a community event. We really enjoyed meeting the team and loved the mission of the organization.
Q: How has the relationship evolved and what are the key elements of Robert Half’s relationship with RVNAhealth?
A: At Robert Half, we realize that a strong partnership is a continuous process, fostered by open dialogue and meaningful action. So, when RVNAhealth contacted us for support in staffing multiple administrative roles, our team implemented this approach and created a comprehensive plan to help identify and source quality candidates. It has been a privilege to support RVNAhealth’s mission and the compassionate people behind it as they continue in their quest to bring exceptional healthcare and wellness to our community.
Q: Any Robert Half/RVNAhealth stories to share?
A: We loved the opportunity to sponsor the Spring Breakfast in 2019! I had a great time selling raffle tickets, hosting our table, and truly connecting to the RVNAhealth mission alongside a huge turnout of supporters. I was amazed to see 400 people gather at 7:30am in support of RVNAhealth!
