About yourself:  I am married, with three amazing sons and two English bulldogs. When I am not working at RVNAhealth, I love to hike, cook, work out at KickFIT, tend to my garden.

Why and when did you choose your profession? My passion to help others started in high school when I decided I wanted to become a nurse. Now, as a home health navigator at RVNAhealth, I am responsible for developing relationships with health care professionals, facilities, physician practices, assisted living facilities and hospitals. I collaborate with our clinical team to assure patients’ smooth and safe transitions to their homes. I also help with case management for our Spanish-speaking patients and help home health with admissions when needed.

The best part of my job is meeting with patients and families to relieve anxiety and reassure them as to what to expect when they go home.
