Nutrition Services
Whether you’re healthy and looking to stay that way; recovering from an injury, illness or recently received a new diagnosis – nutrition is an often undervalued yet crucial piece of your recovery and ability to achieve your health goals
Food and Nutrient considerations are vital for achieving and maintaining optimal health and wellness, including:
- Management of chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Chron’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- Protection from disease – even if there is a strong genetic component
- Lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers, and obesity
- Enhanced recovery from injury or illness
- Lower risk of fractures, osteoporosis, diverticulitis, uncomfortable digestive symptoms, chronic inflammation and unfavorable weight loss or weight gain!
The RVNAhealth comprehensive approach to wellness includes nutrition education, meal plans, personalized nutrient needs, counseling and motivational interviewing, recipe development and exercise prescriptions for all goals, activity levels, and age groups.
