As the Director of the RVNAhealth New Milford Home Health Branch, Julie Gold provides leadership to the clinicians and administrative teams caring for patients in the Northeast region of RVNAhealth — over 200+ at any given time. In her position, Julie is responsible ensuring on-time patient care, while working with field clinicians to optimize effectiveness, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Julie’s life has come full circle, in a way, as she grew up in New Milford and now supervises the nurses caring for her relatives and childhood connections. “People have re-entered my life and get to take their healthcare journey with us,” she said, referencing the RVNAhealth continuum of care, which offers services for all ages, stages, and levels of health.

Julie joined RVNAhealth July of 2012 as a home health nurse, after prior roles as a clinical navigator in a skilled nursing facility, a maternity nurse in Danbury Hospital, and a medical assistant at Associated Pulmonologists in Brookfield, CT. Julie holds an associate’s degree in Medical Assisting; an LPN degree from Henry Abbott Tech; and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Connecticut State University, earned in 2008.

Julie is a resident if Brookfield, CT. She enjoys spending time with her family which includes her daughter Payton, who she calls her best friend, and her stepson Vincent. Despite her wedding plans being upended by Covid, Julie can only say “I am just so blessed.”
