Flu Vaccines

RVNAhealth offers flu vaccines for the whole family – from infants 6 months+ to seniors. Our nurses are highly skilled, experienced, and kind.
We offer two types of Flu Vaccines:
- Standard Dose Trivalent for ages 6 months and older.
- High Dose Trivalent (Fluad) for ages 65 and older.
All vaccines are preservative-free.
Flu vaccines for the 2024-2025 Flu season will all be Trivalent vaccines, more information can be found here.
Before scheduled, please read which insurance plans we accept, see below for more information on payment/insurance.
OPTION 1:
At RVNAhealth By Appointment
Beginning September 11, 2024 we will be offering appointments at our Ridgefield Office on Wednesdays and Fridays. Evening hours until 6pm will be available on Wednesdays in October.
Drive – Thru Clinic will be held in Ridgefield on:
Saturday, October 19, 2024, 9am- 11am
In order to help traffic flow, we ask that you please book a time slot (1 slot per family/car) and complete a consent form for each person to be vaccinated before you arrive.
“Walk-in’s” are also welcome at the Drive-Thru Clinic!
RVNAhealth LOVES FAMILIES
At RVNAhealth, we offer flu vaccines for all those 6 months+, so families can vaccinate together. We also make getting the flu shot a little more appealing for kids 18 and under with cute ice packs (if needed) and band aids, stickers, plus a coupon for a free ice cream compliments of Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe.

Individuals preferring to receive flu shots at home may make appointments with our private nursing team.

INSURANCE
We participate with the following insurance plans for flu vaccines:
- Medicare Part B
- Aetna
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
If you do not have a participating insurance plan, payment will be accepted by check or credit card ($45 for standard trivalent; $85 for Fluad high dose).
Flu vaccines for children (age 18 and under) are provided at no charge, through the CT State vaccine program. Insurance will be billed an administration fee (when possible) but there will be no out of pocket payment for children.
SAFETY FIRST
RVNAhealth follows strict infection control and hygiene practices and has extensive cleaning measures of all equipment and facilities. All treatment rooms have a filtration system to ensure absolute safety. Rooms are cleaned before, after, and between appointments with medical-grade solutions.
