Specialty – or favorite OT challenge:
My specialty area is custom wheelchairs and I am certified in LSVT Big.

When and how did you decide to become an OT, or were you born knowing?
I honestly do think I was born to be an OT.  Ever since I was about five years old I knew I wanted to be a therapist. It just took me a few years to figure out what kind!

If you could offer one tip to people, based on your experiences as an OT, what would it be? One of the best pieces of advice I could give is to be a student as well as a teacher. I have learned much from my patients and their caregivers in my 20 years of practicing. It’s impossible to know everything!
