RVNAhealth Spring Health Fair Series:

Normal Aging or Dementia? How Do I Know?

with Dr. Rachel Butler Pagnotti, PsyD and Neuropsychologist

Thursday, April 9, 10:00 – 11:30 am

RVNAhealth Office, 27 Governor Street, Ridgefield, CT

Join Dr. Rachel Butler Pagnotti, PsyD, a neuropsychologist at Hartford HealthCare, for a clear and reassuring look at the differences between normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia. Drawing from her expertise in cognitive evaluation, Dr. Pagnotti will explain how these conditions are identified, what testing can reveal, and what changes families should pay attention to. Caregivers and individuals concerned about memory will leave with a better understanding of when to monitor, when to seek evaluation, and what next steps may look like.

Dr. Rachel Butler Pagnotti, PsyD is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in cognitive changes related to aging and neurological conditions, including dementia. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Widener University and completed advanced clinical neuropsychology training at the University of Pennsylvania’s Memory Center, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Her work focuses on the assessment and understanding of changes in memory, thinking, behavior, and daily functioning. She helps individuals and families better understand diagnoses such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease dementia, Lewy body dementia, and other cognitive conditions, along with what those changes mean in everyday life.

Registration Required below.
