Dr. Duarte Goncalves Machado has over 18 years of experience. His specialties include neurology and movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Machado is currently affiliated with Hartford Hospital. He completed his M.D. from University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2005 and did his residency at Yale University School of Medicine, where he become Chief Resident, Neurology in 2009. Prior to his current role, he was Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Movement Disorders, Department of Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine.
