Foodborne illness strikes millions of people each year—but a few simple habits can make all the difference. Join Carmen Weber, RVNAhealth’s Registered Dietitian, for an eye-opening look at how common it is and who’s at risk, as well as a practical look at how to keep your food safe and your body healthy. Carmen will guide you through the entire journey of your food—from choosing items in the market through storing leftovers after you’ve eaten. She’ll even unravel the mystery behind those confusing dates printed on food packages. This session is packed with clear, easy-to-understand tips that can help you feel more confident that the next meal you make won’t make you sick.
About Carmen:
Carmen Weber, RVNAhealth Registered Dietitian, has nearly 25 years of experience and holds degrees in Communications and Dietetics. She started her career in healthcare advertising before shifting to community nutrition, working with places such as the Food Bank for New York City, WIC programs, and elderly nutrition services in Fairfield County. She specializes in empowering individuals to connect food and health through one-on-one counseling, nutrition education, and cooking classes.
