Join Carmen Weber, RVNAhealth Registered Dietitian, as she explores this year’s theme, “The Power of Nutrition” in light of National Nutrition Month®. Learn the basics of healthy eating, discover practical and budget-friendly tips for eating well, get suggestions for non-food related healthful habits and learn how a dietitian can help you reach your personal nutrition goals.
The session will conclude with a simple food demonstration, a sample tasting and recipes for all.
About Carmen:
Carmen Weber, RDN, CDN, RVNAhealth Registered Dietitian has nearly 25 years of experience, and holds degrees in Communication and Dietetics. She started her career in healthcare advertising before shifting to community nutrition, working with places such as the Food Bank for New York City, WIC programs, and elderly nutrition services in Fairfield County. She specializes in empowering individuals to connect food and health through one-on-one counseling, nutrition education, and cooking classes.
