Fall Prevention
RVNAhealth also offers an effective strength and balance retraining program called Otago. Otago provides support for fall prevention and is a program that helps to minimize the risk of falls and other related injuries to our Monroe patients. The program targets muscle strength and balance as well reaction time and the art of flexibility. New patients must first undergo an initial balance assessment before our team can design and create a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to the individual health needs as well as the individual functioning levels of each patient.
